Includes replacement of failed parts for a 90 day period
Includes overnight replacement of failed drive or RMU after telephone
diagnosis before 4 pm CST. All other components will be shipped via
Fedex ground service.
The end user must be able to access the library in order to assist in the
diagnosis and install the failed component. Your must be able to
confirm the Dell tag number prior to beginning the warranty service.
Warranty will be canceled if the customer switches components with an
unwarranted system not under Scsistuff warranty or knowingly returns
components not provided by Scsistuff. All serial numbers are recorded
prior to shipment of your library. User experiencing a stuck tape will
be required to return the drive for a 24 hour turnaround of the drive.
Scsistuff is experiencing major issues with tape abrasiveness causing
premature failure of LTO5 drives. You may be asked to switch tape
manufacturers!
If unable or unwilling to access the tape library for maintenance
purposes please purchase a library directly from Dell.
