Pros: All CPU's are now dual or quad core Dual core prices are drastically reduced !!! You choice of either 2 (3.5" SATA or SAS) or 4 (2.5" SAS only) hard drives. The backplane mount is riveted to the case, there is no way to swap them out!!!!! Rail kits are a combination versa and rapid, one fits both rack types. New fully buffered memory type, the first serial mode memory for Dell servers Registered memory will not work. The memory is designated DDR2 4200F or 5300F. Hint - DDR2 4200R will not work!
